Stuart Hershkowitz


Vice President, Jerusalem College of Technology

Trained as an attorney in both Israel and the US, Stuart Hershkowitz is a member of the Bar in both Israel and in New York. He has been active in various aspects of the banking world for the last 30 years and has served on the boards and in senior leadership positions of banks in Israel and the US. Mr. Hershkowitz established the International Division at the Bank of Jerusalem and was one of the founders of Cross River Bank in Teaneck, NJ, where he serves as a Board Member and Chairman of the Audit Committee. He has also been active in real estate and financial services.

In the non-profit world, Mr. Hershkowitz serves as a board member in several important organizations, including the Jerusalem Foundation, the Orthodox Union and Nishmat Women’s College (where he serves as Chairman).

Over the last 20 years Mr. Hershkowitz has served as a member of the Board of Trustees, as well as a member of the Executive Committee, of the Jerusalem College of Technology. He currently serves as Vice President of the College and CEO of its tech-transfer company, JCTechnologies Ltd. He has been a major force in developing the college into a world-class institution of over 4000 students and state-of-the-art research in Science and Engineering. Mr. Hershkowitz spearheads the development efforts at the college as well as the International Programs and Government relations.
